Greetings and Alo'ha!

Many of you interested in my sewing classes have asked for shorter classes and lower cost classes. For the past year, I have been wracking my brain on how to do this in a way that supports my business as well as the students that come to me. It has been my desire to provide high quality education in the field of sewing technology while also designing and creating for my clients. During this last trip to California I had an idea come to mind and I have been working on a plan that I would like to present to you. Using the Health Club membership model, I think this could actually work. However, it will need a lot of community support...as in lots of members and people actually attending the classes. So, here is the idea I have come up with and I am currently seeking space to share in order to facilitate this venture. I would love your input and, if you are in the Denver Metro area and likely to take part in this, I would love to hear from you.

Membership Information:
1. As a member of the sewing club, students can attend any class offered on the monthly calendar for just 5 dollars + materials fees.
2. Members receive significant student discounts on specialty classes and workshops.
3. Members receive a monthly newsletter with sewing tips, fun project ideas and resource information on buying unusual supplies and materials.
4. Members may receive discounts at area fabric and supply houses.
5. Members will have access to fabric and supply swaps, as well as open house events where they can sell their sewn goods to the public.
6. Members will have access to information regarding sewing employment opportunities in the Denver Metro Area.
7. Members may request to receive referrals for design and sewing work within the membership network.

1. Learn about your sewing machine
2. Working with commercial patterns
3. Working with Knits
4. Sleeves & Cuffs class
5. Zippers & Buttonholes
6. Collars & Lapels
7. Linings & Facings
8. Proper Fitting Techniques
9. Easy Alterations for Updating your Wardrobe
10. Serger Sewing

And lots more classes in the realms of creativity!

Specialty Classes & Workshops: These are now offered at a significant discount for club members. No drop ins for these classes. Pre-registration is required 2 weeks in advance so that supplies may be ordered. Limited seating available. Price includes kit fee.
Class Examples:
1. Corset class weekend: Member fee, 200 dollars. Non-Member fee, 425 dollars.
2. Can Can Skirt class, one day: Member fee, 40 dollars. Non-Member fee, 125 dollars.
3. Pants Class, half day: Member fee, 30 dollars. Non-Member fee, 95 dollars.

Many more classes can be offered. If you have a special request, just ask so we can get it on the calendar.

Members may have a difficult problem with a project they are working on and find they need help to complete it. As a member in the club you can now schedule private instruction and project consultation at a very low cost as well.

Initial setup fee is 50 Dollars.
Monthly membership fee is 30 Dollars.
All members pay a class fee of only 5 dollars per class + any materials fee...excluding specialty classes and workshops which have their own fees.
